How to Start with the Leading Quality Dementia Care Program

Step 1. Click on 'Search' at the top of the DTA website.

Step 2. Enter "Leading Quality Dementia Care" in the text field and click on the search icon.

Step 3. Click on the Leading Quality Dementia Care page title.

Step 4. Click on the Register Your Interest button.

Step 5. If you aren't signed in, you will see this message. Click on the sign in button. Otherwise, if you are signed in, continue to Step 8.

Step 6. Either continue with a single sign-on account (Apple, Google or Microsoft), or enter your email address to receive a verification email.

Step 7. If this is your first time logging in, you will be presented with this form. Fill in your personal details and then click Save Details to complete account creation.

Step 8. Once signed in, the Register Your Interest section will be replaced with an enrolment form. fill out the necessary details and then click Submit. The enrolment application will then be assessed by DTA.

Step 9. Upon submitting the enrolment, you should automatically be scrolled up to the top of the page. If enrolment was successful, this message should appear. You will also receive an email saying that your registration has been approved. Click on the workshop sessions button.

Step 10. Available workshop sessions will appear here. Click on the Enrol Now button for the desired dates. You will then receive a confirmation email of your enrolment. You can only enrol in a single workshop session.

Step 11. You will now have landed on the Learning Plan page on learn.DTA. Here you can access Virtual Classrooms and e-Learning modules. Note that they have to be completed in sequential order.

Step 12. Clicking on a Virtual Classroom will lead here, the link to access the video conference will become available once the start time commences.

Step 13. Completing a Virtual Classroom will unlock an e-Learning module component.

Step 14. Clicking on an e-Learning module will lead here, click on the Start Learning Now button to start the module.

Step 15. Upon completing all Virtual Classrooms and e-Learning modules, you will be able to access your certificate.
